Science week

16th Nov 2021

It was science week last week and we carried out 4 different experiments.

The first experiment was a sleep experiment where we tested how much sleep we got each night and how much it impacted our school day.

The second experiment we completed was examining our fingerprints. We looked at the variations of fingerprints and what similarities and differences all of ours had.

The third experiment was using skittles to see which created a rainbow best, warm water or cold water. We discussed why and how it happened.

The final experiment we completed was making oobleck. Making the oobleck was super messy but super fun. Oobleck is a fluid that acts as a liquid but when touched with a force it acts as a solid. It acts so much as a solid that if a swimming pool was filled with oobleck, you would be able to run across it.
