The 3rd class girls got a fantasic opportunity to take part in the Quavers to Quadratics in-school Programme. It was ran over 2 days by two lovely UCD students - one studying music education and the other studying science. The aim of the workshop was to mix music and science and show how they’re connected.
We had so much fun exploring and trying to play different instruments such as the violin, trombone and drums. The trombone was massive, and SO loud!
We also made our own instruments using recycled materials. Some of us were inspired by the instruments we played in the workshop, and others invented their very own instrument. Look at our photos - we had loads of fun!🎵🎺🧪
