Massive congratulations to the Green Schools Committee who were recently awarded a Green Flag for Global Citizenship - Travel, our 8th Green Flag in total. 😊🥳
On Tuesday 19th May, Lily & Sienna, two of our sixth class committee members, attended a special ceremony to collect the Green Flag and certificate in The Helix, DCU. It was a wonderful afternoon and the girls represented the school so well.
On Thursday 11th June, we had the opportunity to host a special assembly and raise our flag. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side but that did not dampen the spirits of our committee. We are so proud of all of the hard work they put in over the past 2 years to achieve this flag. We hope this achievement encourages our pupils to continue to walk, scoot or cycle to school for many years to come!
We celebrated the end of another busy year with the annual Green Schools pizza party. 😊🍕 An extremely well deserved treat for such a hard working committee!
